How to read an analog clock?
An Analog clock is used to indicate time with the help of a minute hand and a hour hand. In some clocks there would be a third hand which indicates the seconds.The shorter hand indicates the hour,longer hand indicates the minutes and the longest arm indicates the seconds.The word 'Analog' is used to show the swift movements from one point to another .Analog clock is often marked from 1 to 12 which represents the time in 12hour format which denotes first half of the day with an AM .The next half of the day must be represented with a PM .
How to Read an Analog Clock
Hour hand — shortest
Points to the current hour. It moves gradually between numbers as the minutes pass, reaching the next hour exactly on the hour.
Minute hand — longest
Makes one full trip around the dial every hour. Each number it passes marks 5 minutes, so "6" means 30 minutes past the hour.
Second hand — thinnest
Sweeps around once every 60 seconds. Not every analog clock has one — ours does, and you can turn it off in Settings.
